M.A.D: Music. Art. Dance.

M.A.D. Creators Camp is a day-long camp for kids aged 4–10 to experience the joy of the arts, rather than focus on technical drilling.

Students will create in all three art forms and parents will be provided with a short documentary detailing their child’s experience.

The camp is led by professional artists.

Through music, visual art, and dance, our experienced instructors guide children to explore, imagine, and create their own songs, artworks, and dances.

who we are

Confident Concerts and T2 Dance Company are the collaborating organizations behind the M.A.D. Creators Camp. The two companies bring a wealth of experience in the arts, business management, and working with children of all ages. Directors, Caley Rose and Erin Keivan, are also mothers of children in Santa Monica schools. They found that the arts programs offered were specific to a certain art discipline and focused on drilling the technique. Rose and Keivan developed M.A.D Creators Camp as a way to provide a holistic arts experience for students to learn some technique, but more importantly to ignite a lifelong passion for the arts. The program emphasizes what is great about creating, performing, and experiencing performing and visual arts, while demonstrating how one artform can inform the other. Throughout the camp, students will create visual artworks and use those to inspire the creation of dances and songs.
